At Blade Show Texas, I found myself enamoured with some of the oversized knives around, especially the Titanium framelocks. Â That just put the idea in my head to try designing one for myself. Â Something big and beefy, but still maintaining the huge blade in a small handle design spin I like to give my knives. Â Once the overall profile was set, I thought it looked a bit like a turtle, thus the name: Tortoise.
